Job Description
3-month temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent. We're looking for an organised bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for a portfolio of small business clients using Xero.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day financial records using Xero
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements monthly
- Prepare VAT returns for submission
- Manage accounts receivable and chase overdue payments
- Prepare basic financial reports for clients
- Maintain organised filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support the team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
Requirements
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts
- Professional communication skills
