Job Description
Take ownership of our risk and compliance framework, ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements while supporting business growth. This is a senior role with direct reporting to the board.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the company's compliance framework
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare board reports on compliance and risk matters
- Deliver compliance training across the organisation
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies
- Investigate and report compliance breaches
- Support audit processes (internal and external)
- Advise senior management on regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years in risk and compliance within financial services
- In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations
- Experience with AML, KYC, and data protection (GDPR)
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance
- ICA or CISI qualification preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
