Job Description

Take ownership of our risk and compliance framework, ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements while supporting business growth. This is a senior role with direct reporting to the board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the company's compliance framework
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Prepare board reports on compliance and risk matters
  • Deliver compliance training across the organisation
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies
  • Investigate and report compliance breaches
  • Support audit processes (internal and external)
  • Advise senior management on regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years in risk and compliance within financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations
  • Experience with AML, KYC, and data protection (GDPR)
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance
  • ICA or CISI qualification preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
