Job Description
Process payroll for a portfolio of clients in this varied and rewarding role. You'll gain exposure to different payroll systems and industries while developing your expertise in UK payroll legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for multiple clients
- Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)
- Process starters, leavers, and changes accurately
- Submit RTI returns to HMRC
- Handle payroll queries from clients and employees
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports
- Assist with year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
- Maintain accurate payroll records
Requirements
- Some payroll processing experience
- Understanding of UK payroll legislation
- Experience with payroll software (Sage, BrightPay)
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- CIPP qualification or working towards is a plus
