Job Description

Process payroll for a portfolio of clients in this varied and rewarding role. You'll gain exposure to different payroll systems and industries while developing your expertise in UK payroll legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for multiple clients
  • Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)
  • Process starters, leavers, and changes accurately
  • Submit RTI returns to HMRC
  • Handle payroll queries from clients and employees
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports
  • Assist with year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
  • Maintain accurate payroll records

Requirements

  • Some payroll processing experience
  • Understanding of UK payroll legislation
  • Experience with payroll software (Sage, BrightPay)
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CIPP qualification or working towards is a plus
