Job Description
Manage our fleet of 40+ commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You'll oversee vehicle maintenance, driver management, and route optimisation across our UK network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a fleet of 40+ commercial vehicles
- Ensure O-licence compliance and fleet roadworthiness
- Plan and oversee vehicle maintenance schedules
- Manage fuel costs and identify savings opportunities
- Implement and monitor route optimisation strategies
- Manage driver schedules, tachographs, and working time compliance
- Handle vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and replacements
- Manage fleet insurance and accident procedures
- Report on fleet KPIs and operational costs
Requirements
- 3+ years of fleet management experience
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Road Haulage
- Knowledge of O-licence requirements and DVSA standards
- Experience with fleet management software
- Understanding of tachograph regulations
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Full UK driving licence (Cat C/CE preferred)
- FORS accreditation experience is a plus
