Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Manage our 50,000 sq ft distribution centre in Milton Keynes, overseeing a team of 30+ operatives. You'll be responsible for all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient picking, packing, and dispatch to meet customer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse operations across two shifts
• Lead and develop a team of 30+ warehouse operatives
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control
• Meet daily dispatch targets and customer SLAs
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles
• Manage WMS (Warehouse Management System) operations
• Prepare operational reports and KPI dashboards
• Control operational costs within budget

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse management experience
• Experience managing teams of 20+
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience with WMS systems (Manhattan, SAP, or similar)
• Forklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach)
• Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
