Job Description
Lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of outstanding patient care. You'll manage a team of 20+ nurses and healthcare assistants, driving standards, compliance, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 20+ nursing staff
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
- Manage rotas, absence, and staffing levels
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations
- Manage clinical governance and incident reporting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Implement evidence-based practice improvements
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC registered)
- 5+ years of nursing experience with 2+ in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of CQC standards
- Experience with clinical audits and governance
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Degree in Nursing (BSc or higher)
- Post-registration qualification in management is a plus
- Full UK driving licence
