Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Optimise and improve our manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain the highest quality standards. You'll work hands-on with CNC machines, assembly lines, and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and procedures
• Implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
• Program and optimise CNC machines
• Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production
• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues
• Lead process capability studies and statistical analysis
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities
• Train production operators on new processes
• Manage engineering change processes

Requirements

• 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role
• Experience with CNC machining and programming (Fanuc, Siemens)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• HNC/HND or degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
