DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to help us scale our cloud infrastructure and improve our deployment pipeline. You'll work closely with development teams to automate processes, ensure system reliability, and drive our cloud-first strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Manage and optimise AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance and implement alerting strategies
• Automate deployment processes and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate with development teams on containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure security best practices across all infrastructure
• Manage disaster recovery and backup procedures
• Document infrastructure and processes comprehensively

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3)
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Linux system administration
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of networking and security principles
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• AWS certifications are a plus
